I am missing a system file that won't allow me to install Fusion. What am I doing wrong?

When installing Fusion on my Big Sur Macbook, I get an error saying that my "com.apple.dock.plist file is missing. How can I get this back, and why is it happening? I've already done killall dock.

OP here - Error:

FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/Users/zrhodes/Library/Preferences/com.apple.dock.plist'
