How to preserve component colour cycling in render workspace?

I'm working on a mechanical mechanism which is going to showcase a demonstration of working motion, so materials of components don't matter for me.

I'm using component colour cycling in design workspace, which differentiates each component by applying random colour to it. It's easy to work and easy to showcase.

But when I go to Render workspace, all components revert back to steel grey appearance, I want to know, How to preserve component colour cycling in render workspace?

I know I can apply appearance to components by simply using paint as a material, but my design contains more than 80 components. Applying paint as material to all of them manually with random colour choice is too much time consuming and frustrating. Is there any way to preserve component colour cycling in render workspace? I just want my components to be randomly colourised in rendered photos and motion studies.

I don't know any but i think it's worth a recommendation on integration.
