how to persist Measure tool settings?

Hi, when using the measuring tool, I always want the "show snap points" and "XYZ Delta" options to be turned on. every session, when I first use the measuring tool, I turned them on, but they do not "stick" between sessions. Is there a way to do that? thanks!

Unfortunately, there is no way today to save settings across session, for any command, including Measure

Returning to this again, now it would seems as XYZ delta doesn't even persist in the same session after the addition of the different coordinates system in the XYZ delta in the inspect tool. everytime I measure a distance between two points, I have to click on the xyz delta (either global or 1,2 component reference) in order to get the result. This is extremely annoying. anything that could be done? this thread is 2 years old.

thanks!

Thanks @g-andresen for taking the time to investigate, however this is not the issue. the xyz delta display works as expected, however if you select the xyz delta display (any of the modes), and then close and reopen the inspect window, select anything to measure, and the xyz delta does not persist. you have to click on it again to show 😞

thanks

Hi,

1. the XYZ delta display is done only by marking points and activating the XYZ display.
2. if you want to perform several measurements, do not close the window, but start a new measurement after "Clear selection".
3. for measurements between center points the option "Snap point" must be activated.
