How to Pattern Features Onto Another Body

I have a pattern on one body that I want to pattern onto another.  The second body is an exact mirror of the body with the pattern, across the Z-axis.

I've created the following simplistic example to illustrate what I'm trying to do.  If this was to be done on one body it would work, but I can't figure out how to do it from one body to another.

Is this possible?

Make the first body,

Pattern it.

Thanks Dave.  This I know, but as I mentioned this example is a simplified version of the real thing.

Using this example is there a way to do it?

It would sure be nice if you could choose which body/component to pattern onto.  This is a lacking feature in my opinion (unless, again, maybe I'm missing something).

So it’s an Extrude and Fillet.

Extrude function (join?) is operating on body A. Fillet edges of the Extrude.

You want to seperate this result and put it onto another body.

Set the extrude to new body. Pattern these new bodies. Would not work for Extrude cut.

Combine half onto Body A, and half onto body B.

My suggestion is not the nightmare (and works for Extrude cut)  - that the way to do it is.

Sometimes we got to think outside the box, when fusion won’t do it.

Thanks for your response.

I'm not exactly sure what you're saying, but I like the New Body approach.

I could create the pattern as a new body, then use a Join/Cut command on each body I want to pattern on.  It's more steps, but it's so crazy it just might work!
