Will Fusion 360 open xt files? Mine will not for some reason unless I'm doing something wrong?

What license do you have?  I think xt file type is not included with a "Personal" license.

OK, so I assume that, since this is associated with a business, it is probably a Commercial license.  So, you should be OK there.  I assume that when you say "xt" files, you are really talking about "x_t" (Parasolid) files, just to be clear.

Second, how are you trying to translate these files?   I would recommend using the "Upload" button on the data panel:

You are correct it is a x_t file. I tried the download and it says it failed
and file does not exist. With step files it opens them everytime with no
hesitation.

I assume you mean "upload" not "download", right?  Is there a sample design you can share?  Does this happen with every x_t file?  (trying to rule out a data-specific issue).
