how to make this a perfect cicle

greetings

i made an sketch, used a circle, modified the circle so i could unfold, fold again, but i didnt get a perfect circle because i modified the circle.

how can i make this a circle again? any help?

Body 1, is 65mm long.

Circumference of the circle is 56.xxmm.  

These two should match before the moding the straight line gap, that can be way smaller.

When I re-aligned the two bodies, the refold did this.

Body 1 ellipses, have no overlap,

1 why if the internal diameter of the circle is 16.9, i end up with a internal diameter of over 24mm, is there a way to get an internal diameter of 16.9 at the end? i mean if before unfolding the diameter is 16.9 why does it change so much if the stationary is only 0.1mm

2 i still dont know how to align the stationary part at the end.

Did you save and open my file, 

My changes can be compared to you older version.  As I did not build the file, I have not had time to chase down your steps in file.

I altered the sketch 2 diameter, and was able to watch the gap closing.

The left end of the design is moved to the beginning of the unfolded flange, but not overlapping the flat part.  The rest is your file.

If I was making this, I woul have a bit more overlap of the ellipses, and satr at the origin with a half ellipse at each end, to make the refold mate up, easy.

i got 2 extra questions:

1. can i import a design from another file into this one? 

2. is there a way to modify an specific feature in your history, other than use it to get back and remake it all again?

If the File to insert is in your data panel, yes, it’s called Insert into current design.

2.  I am not sure what you mean, if you want to use my file, that’s fine, you can bring your file up to date with what I did, with Edit Feature and edit sketch, change your settings.  

Your new file looks great, well done.

i mean, until now i used the history log only to go back, because when i click on the history feature, i can see only the text of what i did but now how i did it.
