How to link 2 bodies along a single plane so they resize together

Hi,

I am trying to link/join/joint 2 bodies together so that if I resize one the other automatically resizes the linked/joined side (in 3d). Also want to move the one body and the other changes its shape based on the new location of its joined side. This is so I don't need to spend hours every time I change one object to change, realign and reorient its adjacent bodies.

Thanks

Hi,

show the situations once in a screencast, because pictures say more than a thousand words.

difficult to show as I dont know how to do it but as you can hopefully see I have 2 bodies, I move the one around and the other doesnt resize or move with. I dont want to group them together as I want them to move in relation to each other not with each other if that makes any sense?

Hi,

maybe joints could become your friends, like the rigid joint here.

Hi,

Not really what I was looking for, What I was hoping for is to be able to resize the main body and the attached body (the side that is attached) resizes with it. that way if I am changing one facet of an overall design the rest of the objects that are linked resize, move etc with it.

Thanks

Mark

Hi,

I don't know any way that changing the size of one body can change the size of a second independent one.
