How to download all files from Fusion cloud for mass export

I am going to be transitioning away from Fusion and cross-training into other software for modeling and simulation. Is there a way to download the current contents of the cloud, ideally in STEP? Can I pull this from the local cache? Or must this be done one-by-one manually by opening each file and exporting?

Fusion's business practices in removing features and paywalling other features within an already-paid account, removing lifetime licenses, inane cloud-dependence for many features (even simply renaming files), and bewildering lack of features (being able to make measurements in a motion study, making motion studies effectively useless) has pushed me away from using this professionally.

There is no "bulk" download routine for Fusion files from the Cloud.  Since you want STEP files, your suggested method, highlighted in the best method.

Naturally, I kind of figured the cloud storage was mostly there to hold files hostage and prevent people from leaving this ecosystem.

Autodesk sucks.

The easiest way to get your designs downloaded is to view them in Fusion Team, and use the export/download button.

Good luck!
