How to cut a wave pattern from a cone?

I want to create a christmass tree for 3d printing. The idea is to slightly modify a model I've found online. Mostly as ap purpose to learn more about Fusion 360 and CAD in general.

I've created a very basic sketch of a tree which I've then revolved around the Z-Axis.

Now I'm stuck and dont know how to cut this wavy pattern from the cones.

I too was playing around with a similar idea in the creation of a Christmas Tree.  Attached in my model, maybe you will like it.  This is not meant to try and answer your question, just something I was messing around with.

I would probably approach this model with T-Splines.

If it looks in the screencast that I am sometimes a little confused as to what to do next, that would be correct.

I've worked a lot with Blender lately ...

Look if this video gives you some ideas:

The audio is in portuguese but you can use captions translated to english.
