The sections in blue are presently solid, I want to cut a rectangle into each of the blue areas allowing a specific border around the cut area.  I would like to rotate around the object, selecting each of the areas then invoke a tool, specify the border size and cut out the sections.

Is it possible?

@SimonPlatten ,

Create a construction plane, create a sketch on it(Use Project) and then Extrude cut.

If you can you attach the design that you have already created in Fusion 360 then i can try.
You can export by File>Export *.f3d/*.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply.

Hi,

in this screencast I use "tangent plane at point".

I think it is more accurate than offset plane.

Where do I find that option, sorry if this is very newbie, I just don't know where to find that option.

I've modified the design since:

Screenshot 2021-05-01 at 14.04.01.png

However, same problem now I would like to cut a rectangular hole in each sale, from the top to the bottom close to the center shaft to about 50% of the sale, hope that makes sense ?

Thank you, I believe using the information you posted that I've got a solution:

1.  Plane at Angle

2. Create Sketch on Plane

3. Extrude rectangle created on sketch through existing body.

4. Repeat process for each sale.

That worked for the first sale, but now I'm having problems replicating for the others, I want to copy the sketch and rotate, but for some reason I am unable to create a copy ?

I know what I want to do, its just frustrating that I don't know how to achieve it.  I have a sketch on one sale, I want to copy that same sketch to each of the sales, but I'm not getting the copy option enabled when I use the Move/Copy option.

1. I never said anything about that

4. Create circular pattern

5. Not the sketch but the feature (cut out) is duplicated with a circular pattern > NOT COPYED!

Somehow I get the impression that you didn't take note of the processes in the above screencasts, because you ignore the tools used.
