How to create a sheet metal rolled pipe with "double folded" seem?

Hi,

I would like to create a circular pipe out of sheet metal with a double folded seem, like a external water downpipe.

I want to be able to control the diameter of the pipe with a user parameter (and maybe also needed to use the sheet thickness as a parameter at least for calculations, not for rules).

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file of your attempt to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Here is my example.  You can vary the tube length and diameter within reason.  Vary the seam width as the tube diameter changes to maintain proportion.  Model is done in 16 GA mild steel, I do not think a variable thickness is possible and maintain a tight, but not intersecting seam.  Model attached.
