How to change direction of 2D Pocket toolpath?

How do I change the direction of my 2D pocket toolpath to cut longways down the pocket rather than multiple short passes that keep eating into my stock. The tool path automatically generated is counterintuitive and terrible. It seems to be such a simple thing that I want it to do, and yet i cant find a solution. Please help!
