How setup fingerprint on Mac to launch Fusion?

Fusion demands my userID and password every time I start it and often at other times.

My Mac Studio opens most things quickly using the fingerprint sensor, but Fusion never checks it, so I have to copy and paste the info from my password manager. It's quite painful.

How do I set it to accept the fingerprint

Hi @DaveGadgeteer

Fusion 360 does not currently support the macOS keychain, and therefore cannot utilize TouchID. We are aware that users would like smoother integration with password keepers, though the bigger issue here is that Fusion should not be requiring login each each launch for single-user devices.

Do you have any other Autodesk applications installed? It's possible that the cached session is getting corrupted, depending on when each app was last-updated.

I don't have any other Autodesk software installed.
I'm using current OS and Fusion versions.
I seem to have to log in again everytime I return to continue work on a project.

Just now I can't post my quick reply because of some authentication failure, puzzling.

Refreshing the web page got Quick Reply to work. Fortunately I'm getting smart enough to copy my text to clip first, so I didn't have to type it again!

Agreed! However, this is a persistent behavior for a number of users, who also do not have any other Autodesk software installed.

I also had this problem on my mac only and uninstalling Screencast has solved the problem.

I've replaced Autodesk Screencast with OBS. Permanently!

I don't understand what changed it, but Fusion has become less annoying.

Thank you!
