How do I load half the piece?

First of all, hello dear forum members. My name is Berkay. I'm a mechanical engineering senior student.

I am a beginner at Fusion 360 and have been using the program for about 1 month. In the part I designed for my design project, I want to apply the force on the shaft bearings to only half of it, not the whole surface. But I could not find how to do it. The part I designed was a rim and I chose the bolt holes as a fixed support. Can I fix this problem with a ground fixing or do you have any other advice? I would appreciate it if you could help me on the subject. Thank you in advance.sss.PNGRim 1.pngss.PNG

Hi Berkay,

You can use a construction plane for splitting the face where you're going to apply the loads, as you can see in the video below.

You can also use one of the origin planes, if the part is centered on the origin and one of the plane orientations is what you need.

Hope this helps and all the best for your project.
