I am NEW. I have created a basic shape with holes that need to be cut out on a Shaper Origin. I have the plug-in for Origin but it doesn't show up. Presumably, because I am not in Model mode. But, i have no model mode. I am confusion.

thanks for posting! it looks like you are in the UI preview. to change this, click on your name in the upper right hand corner, then click preferences. uncheck the highlighted box:

Hi,

the UI has changed.

You can currently activate the "old user interface" here. However, this only applies for a limited period of time. It is therefore advisable to make friends with the "new" UI.

all of the online tutorials, including your own, use the old UI.  How is someone new supposed to learn your program if you haven't updated your own tutorials for the new setup?

For those of us who have used both interfaces, the changes are not that dramatic.

There is a change to Sketching Tools, but otherwise much the same, changed icons.

Model is now Design, with section tabs on the main screen now.

To get the sketching tools, you need to create or edit one, then the tools will be the same.

There are videos available that compare m the two interfaces,

If stuck, ask questions with sufficient info to explain the problem, in a new topic.

Might help....

Model is now Design.

If you still have trouble - start a new thread and include screen capture images of what you see on you screen.
