How do I delete this project?

I am getting close to my magic number of 10.

I WAS using this project and importing it to another one.

This was to keep things apart and separate.

Since then I have made a better project and so this one is no longer needed.

I click on it and say "DELETE" and I get this thrown at me.

I moved where it was on the screen only to show that I have 9/10 permitted jobs.

Time to rationalise them.

But....   It won't let me.

Oh, yes, I have imported some nuts and bolts to use in it.

Does that mean if I make a project and use external parts then decide to delete it, I have to go in manually and delete all the foreign imported parts?

Nothing misleading in that message.

Fusion has a memory better than ours, some other Data Panel Object is referencing to the one you want to delete.

Might help....

Well that is strange.

As to the best of my knowledge - and yeah that is an opening - I only imported that into one project.

I have since deleted its reference so I think I should be able to delete it.

It seems strange that there is no way to see "who" (externally) is using the project.

I've spent a bit of time checking other projects.   Can't find any links.

After all it is specifically done for use in one other project and opening it up I can't see any links to it.

You may be able to remove unwanted files using the method outlined in this Blog Article and Video.

Open the panel for the project to delete,

Click on the Versions down arrow (circled) for a list,

Click on Used In, for the reference.

(Likely have to edit the files in this list, before you can proceed)

Sorry to say but half of what you show on your screen doesn't appear on mine.

After a lot of messing around I managed to get the "Erase me" project visible.

But when I tried to move the offending files there I got an error.

I'll see what Dave has to say.

Thanks Dave.

Good news/bad news.   😉

It is/was looking good.

Opened that option....  Brick wall.

Still can't delete it.

Getting adventurous I found a "Look on the WEB" option to see my projects.

(Confusing to say the least - at least for people who are on the ground floor of options)

Given I checked all the other tabs and all them said "Nothing else is used by or is linked to this"....

I still can't delete it.

The error message at the top is a bit of a laugh too.
