How do I add extra default rails into my loft design?

I have an issue when trying to loft that the loft direction follows a certain pattern I can't yet seem to fix. if you look at the photos below:

I want my triangles to be flush but yet some have this curve to them that I can only fix twice but I can't without more of those default rail lines. look on the left side of the structure in the middle, one triangle is straight, and the one next to it has this strange curve. 

 I was able to make the one straight by moving two default rails onto the same point, but doing that takes away the ability for me to do it on other spots, is it possible to add custom rails from one point to the other?

Surface Loft to a point, 

do the same one as the picture, Thicken, 

Circular pattern it., and proceed from there.

I just lofted it to each point individually, I didn't do the circular pattern even though it likely would have been smoother but i'm not that advanced yet, thanks!
