How can I save a backup of all my designs to local storage?

Several times I've had my designs all disappear, though they did eventually reappear.

To avoid losing everything (10  years history), I'd like to download every design to local storage.

I know I can do this by opening them one at a time and saving them, but isn't there some way to 

get them all at once (slowly is OK) without all those manual steps?

Something like a Backup Designs command? Or a script?
