How am i supposed to combine a surface with a body without the "thicken" option

So as you can see in the picture below I've created a curved shape that I wanna insert into the main body and combine them to be able to create a hole in it but fusion is apperently not letting me chose that curved shape to combine it, and I don't want to thicken the shape because then it won't look like I want it to.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Hopefully you learn something from the two samples.  I think I would use elements of each of the examples for the final design.

I recommend that you recreate your favorite one from scratch - as you can see the process is far more easy that you initial attempt.

 

Tips:

Fully define your sketches.

If you use Move - you are probably doing something wrong - ask questions.

Ok thank you so much for the tips and for the help, I'm kinda new to Fusion I used to use blender and tinker cad before, but thank you really appreciated.
