hide/disable multiple objects at the same time (in multiple components)

Hi

I am designing a device which has several lenses. These cameras have an object, sort of an arc, that displays the viewing angle of each lens and so when they are all shown, I can see coverage and overlaps.

However, Most of the time I want to hide these arcs. I can go into the component, into all subcomponent lenses each, then hide the respective bodies one by one, but its very tedious. Is there a thing like layers I can turn on and off? or bound them together somehow to hide them together?

Have you tried selection sets? You'd need to select all the items once, create a selection set then you can use the selection set to select all the items and Show\Hide. Using selection priority might help selecting visible bodies to create the selection set the first time.

You can right click on a body or component or more than one and select isolate, that will hide all but the selected.
