Hidden edges appearing over bodies when the zoom is decresead.

Hello,

There are components hidden edges appearing over another component surface as the zoom is decresead. I can even select these edges when they appear. As you guys can see, at a close zoom everything is normal, but, when it is decresead, the edge lines of two components that are in contact with the outer cilinder start to appear. The solids don't overlap each other, as is visible in the slice view. The visual style is "Shaded with Visible Egdes Only". I tried everything to fix it, but I was unsuccessful. Can someone help me, please?

I have seen the same thing for years - even on parts seperated slightly. I had a roof above rafters, and when zoomed out the rafters would show. Even tried putting a small gap between them, it still does it.

This looks to be Z-Fighting (common problem/quirk of 3D computer graphics having to do with meshes and precision of object scale in viewport). In other words, your model is fine, but Fusion doesnt understand how to render it properly at that zoom level. I see this frequently when working on models with very small features. In my experience, one can sometimes mitigate this by R-Clicking the body(s) in question, selecting "Display Detail Control", and setting it to "Fixed, High Detail". Just bear in mind that this could come at the cost of some performance if working with a particularly intricate model and/or are running on slow computer hardware.

Hopefully this is insightful / helpful.

Just tried that on one of my models, did not have any effect. The parts I see it on are very large panels, metal roof panels of a steam shovel over a channel framework, so to see the whole model I have to zoom out quite far, compared to most small items. The largest model I have like this has a cab that is about 60 feet long. The relative distances to the roof panels and the framework underneath get quite small when zoomed out, which is likely where the Z fighting you mention comes into play. I'll keep this trick in mind in the future, might help in smaller models.

Hi, Joshua. Thank you for answering.

It didn't solve completely the bug, but it helped a little.

Thanks.
