Help with emboss : Error: Emboss result falls outside boundary of selected faces.

Hello

I am very new to Fusion 360 and this is probably a really dumb question and I apologize in advance if the solution is obvious.

I have being trying to emboss a bracelet, but I keep getting this error:

Error: Emboss result falls outside boundary of selected faces. Add adjacent faces to selection, adjust distance and rotation angle, or adjust proximity of sketch profiles to selected faces.

I have both sketches on the same plane, but either I get this error or the emboss happens on the top face, but I am selecting the front face.

The bracelet is made by revolving a 20mm x 4mm rectangular around the Z axis.

Any help will be appreciated! 🙂

The Sketch, of the design you want to Emboss MUST be in-line with the surface you are trying to Emboss.  From your screen capture it seems the emboss sketch is way above the ring surface.  The Screencast will explain it better.

Oh my God, this makes so much sense, but yet I thought the emboss would be projected no matter its position.

Thank you very much!
