Help when generating tool paths with multiple depths my tool plunges all the way to the bottom layer then works its way up. This is very irritating and I've checked my X axis and model orientation and they are both right. Please help

Please attach your model.  Since the Forum posts have lost their Attachments section, you will have to use the Reply to the topic box at the bottom of the forum post messages.  You need to open you model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, select Export and save the file to your hard drive.  The use the Reply to the topic box to attach the file.

I believe your problem is that you have selected the top edges of the holes as your geometry.  Take a look at my model, you will see that I have selected the base edges of the holes.  You also have a 10mm stepdown specified, I only have 3mm which may or may not be too small.  Model is attached on a second post.
