I hope this is the best place for documentation feedback.

I think the description needs some re-wording to improve understanding and accuracy. It is a bit hard to follow, and it isn't obvious why the user would select this versus a pocketing operation.

The Slot toolpath will only follow a centerline of a feature that has parallel sides. For example, you could not use a 5mm endmill to machine a slot that is 10mm wide, you would only get a slot that is 5mm wide. If your feature is larger than your tool, you would use the Pocket strategy. However, if your feature and your tool are the same size, Slot works well for this. However, I would recommend that Slot really only has valid use in soft materials or where tolerance isn't required.

Thanks for the clarification. The request here is to update the description shown in the popup menu to something as helpful as you have written.

"Mills a slot by following the slot center line of the slots"

Even as a native English speaker that's a hard read. Here is my suggestion:

"Mills the center of a modelled slot by either referencing the center line or its parallel boundary. This differs from the 2d pocketing operations in that it cuts only the width of the tool."
