Having trouble selecting edges in general

Lately (last couple of months) I'm experiencing difficulty selecting edges on solids and sometimes on sketches on several models. It starts after it has been open for a while. When bug appears I test on another newly opened model and edge selection works perfectly.

Fusion starts to intermittently insist on selecting faces only. I have not touched selection filters between working and not, changing the selection filters back and forth to "reset" any settings does not help. Resetting view to "home" does not help. I have applied an "appearance" to the bodies in all tested models (same across).

It's easier to grab an edge of a shape (based from the sketch) in comparison to an edge created by extrusion. Sometimes when I manage to highlight an edge it lights up when the moue is next to it, not on it. Have not tested fully but sometimes when looking at a sketch head on (normal to sketch) it seems to work more often.

I use Nvidia 3070 with latest (studio) drivers on Win 11. I use a Spacemouse from 3DConnexion if that might give a clue.

 Any Ideas?

Right click on the 3DConnexion glyph and select Calibrate (do not touch while it is calibrating).

I run Calibrate each morning before starting.

Thanks for the tip!

Since it is an intermittent problem I can not confirm if this works (yet), will update later.
