having to click dimension each time a new dimension is needed while in sketch.

Where do I find a way to make dimension stay active while drawing a model? If I draw say a box I have to click d every time I want to add another dimension. I have 5 seats at work and only my seat is doing this, all the others the dimension dialogue stays active as you add dimensions. We

cannot find anything in my preferences different from the others. If I open someone elses model it works as it should and stays active.
