Having an issue with quick dimension feature for sketches

when sketching a circle or any shape for that matter, it wont allow use of the quick dimension feature where i can just type in a dimension before clicking when drawing a shape, instead i have to draw out a rough guess with my mouse then use the dimension tool in the ribbon. Does anyone know what the problem could be?  it only started doing this recently.

If you are on Win 7, it’s a known problem last 3 months or so, but it does not happen here - yet.

Is there anything we can do using windows ?

You have not confirmed you have Win 7,

search for Compatability Mode windows 7, 

Not seen it in other versions of Windows.
