GUI not showing up on Screenshots or OBS

This is killing me. I'm on Windows 7 and OBS nor a print screen see the Fusion 360 GUI. I tried reinstalling it. I've tried two different graphics cards and I'm at wits end. I even reinstalled fusion but no change. Others seem to not have this issue with OBS. I've tried game capture, window capture, and display capture. Nothing helps. The menus, browser, GUI, various display boxed do not show up. Its very frustrating and I have no idea what is causing it.

This is likely due to your machine running Windows 7.

I just installed OBS on a Windows 10 installation and I can record Fusion 360 just fine.

@Anonymous I have this same issue with the windows game bar recording. I think it is a layering issue: each screen recorder is just attempting to record the Fusion 360 window, but the menus are a graphic overlay, so they are held in a different "layer". Windows game bar does not allow me to change the recording target, so I got around the issue by using Windows Powerpoint screen recording. In your case, with OBS studio, try setting the recording target to the screen, and NOT Fusion 360 the program. Hope this helps, and sorry if I am a few years late but I just encountered this myself!
