Ground reflections stopped working

I'm worried that I've flipped some fail-safe in Fusion, caused by me having too many light sources, and that's why this is happening...but I'd really like to figure out what is wrong.

As you can see in this render gallery, earlier on in the project Fusion was rendering the reflections. But, later on it stopped. All of these were rendered with the same render settings:

Weirdly, the reflections WILL appear when I do an in-canvas render:

But the same project version and composition will not when I do a 75% quality local render:

You did not say what you have tried so I will mention the obvious.  If you look at your Display Settings and the Ground Shadow and Reflections are grayed out then you need to remove the check mark beside Limit effects to optimize performance in the Graphics Diagnostic dialog.  This dialog is found under Help, Support and Diagnostics, Graphics Diagnostics.

I did mention that. I copied and pasted my  graphics settings, and that's listed there with the "limit effects" toggle turned off.

Also, I am not sure that effects renders anyway, because that pertains to the video card, which is not used in rendering.

Okay, even weirder, when I do a cloud render, it does the same thing (no ground reflections, even though an in-canvas render of the same thing will have all reflections).

Rendering continues to be an inconsistent issue, and I discovered it was not because of the lights. I also had an issue with one project--when I selected to render reflections on the ground--it didn't render the project at all, only the HDRI background (I turned off ground reflections and the render was fine). Another time I tried to save a PNG with a transparent background, but it saved a blank file.

All this stuff started happening after the update, so it's probably some compatibility issue with the updates and my hardware and/or my drivers (especially since there was a big WX update recently as well). I'm going to make sure all of that is up to date.

However, the fact that I had the same problem with ground reflections not rendering when I did a cloud render makes me wonder how it could be related to my own machine's hardware/drivers.

I ran into the same problem, and I found a partial solution:
in scene settings try to change the background option from "Solid Color" to "Environment".

Of course not the same reflection as previewed, but it still makes the rendering more realistic than having no reflection on the ground.
