I'm having serious issues with my fusion 360 install on my MSI Bravo 17.

I've linked a screenshow and a small video showing the issues...

Video: https://www.dropbox.com/s/79n0t74lusewk2i/2021-08-12%2013.34.08.mp4?dl=0

It seams that whenever i'm clicking something or doing just about anything this happens.

The screenshot and video are from a completely fresh install on a freshly formatted computer. I've installed the lates drivers and installed Fusion, so no other software have been installed on the machine prior to this...

CPU: Ryzen 5 4600H with Radeon Graphics

APU: Radeon Graphics

GPU: Radeon RX 5500M

Windows 10 Home 64-bit Version 20H2

My system have 16GB of memory and 512MB dedicated to the APU.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated

best regards

Jesper

Hi @Anonymous thanks for posting.

In this issue make sure that Fusion 360 is using dedicated graphics card, not the integrated one. Check the attached screenshot:

You can follow the steps from this article to use high performance graphics.

I have followed the instructions and the problem persists.

When checking with the diagnostics, it tells me that Fusion is using the RX 5500M as GPU device.

What else can i try?

Hi @Anonymous, thanks for an update.

You can also check your Graphics driver setting in Preferences (click your initials icon in top-right corner). Try all the options and check if one of them will solve the issue.

Sometimes display issues may be caused by using docking station but from your video I assume that you are unlikely to use one.

Hi again.

I have tried to change directX drivers and forced the system to use GPU power, both without any luck.

Then I tried the solution from this post:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-support/someone-please-explain-this-i-cannot-see-any-of-th...

And added the environment variables. That did the trick. I have no idea what those do, but I can now use Fusion without any issues.

But thanks for your replies and your suggestions.

Best regards

Jesper
