The Google font Allerta (https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Allerta+Stencil?selection.family=Allerta+Stencil)

does not render properly when used as a text font in a sketch.

I'm using a Mac and the TTF version of the font imported into my system.

Specifically 0 zero and O cap o do not show the breaks that make them stencils.

Hi @mkarliner,

Nice font!

OTF files sometimes work better with Fusion 360 -- I'd recommend using a font converter like this one to convert the file format and try it as an OTF instead of a TTF.

Hi Kate,  thanks for the tip, but an OTF version doesn't work
either.

I'm sorry to hear that!

Does exploding the text (right click and select "explode text") make any difference?

Hi Kate,

no, explode text does not help.

Here is what it looks like, and below is what the font is supposed to look like.
I was trying to make a model for some stencils, which is why I used the font, and interestingly, the other stencil font I tried

also doesn't work. However, it seems that many/most of the other fonts on my machine will render correctly, if not brilliantly well.

Has this been resolved? I'm having trouble with Allerta not being recognized but the character I'm having trouble with is 3. It says "cannot complete extrusion, the object you are creating is not visible. Please toggle visibility in the browser."

Alternatively, does anyone have a normal looking stenciled font that they have had success with extruding in Fusion?
