Ghost pending update won't let me open files

The attached happens when I try to open a file. I have closed and reopened. It has been 24 hours now.

This is on my laptop. I have no problem on my computer. I need the laptop to work.

@doncvivian Its likely that the machine that this is not working is on an older version of Fusion from August where we had issues with live update. Please simply install Fusion again (without an uninstall) and it should get you to the latest build and then it should work.
