getting started creating and deleting projects

Dear Fusion 360 expert,

I just started with Fusion 360. I am having trouble getting out of the starting blocks. I have looked at every help video that I can find. While I am practicing, I want to be able to create and get rid of projects, so I do not have a project clutter mess. This is the very step, so help videos ignore it. I go to the Data Panel, create a new project, but then cannot open it. Please give me the exact complete sequence, including everything, assuming no knowledge.

create a new project and open it so I can start a sketch.

save that project

delete that project (I think that I need to archive it and then delete that archive, but I cannot find the archived projects)

There should be a video 001, for this so that we beginners can google it and save a lot of time and frustration. This is a great project, but it is unnecessarily difficult to get started.
