Gesture based view navigation fails after a while

Hi there. For the past several months, I've noticed that gesture based view navigation (specifically, shift + two finger track pad orbit) fails. If I relaunch the app, it comes back. Can someone write up a bug? Thanks!

Hey @bentwookie,

This has been logged with the team. It has to do with focus in MacOS. The best way around it is as you mentioned, relaunch Fusion.

This is still the case three years later. The workaround is pretty miserable.

Ha. I forgotten I'd written about this problem all these years ago. I just wrote another post about the exact same problem, but with an M1 Mac (where it seems to happen much more often now).

I've used Fusion 360 since the App-store beta days. It's always been this crazy juxtaposition between magical tools and core app code that's often pretty embarrassing.

The Fusion 360 UI team must thank their stars everyday they only have to outrun the Eagle team.

Hello,

I have been working withe a personal License for a long time without any problems concerning the gesture based navigation.

Just after I started to use a "start up license" I started experience this very problem:

After a while the gesture based navigation fails (pinching, orbiting, zooming) - as soon as i touch the trackpad with any gesture the view jums to somewhere out of space.

Relaunching helps but this is very annoying.
