Hi,

Is there a way to position a model using long/lat and time of year so that I might examine shadows/lighting ?

Thanks

Hi @-Nick- , Can you please share the details of the project you are working on?

I'll try to help you in positioning.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi,

That's not really what I'm looking for.  Imagine I just drew a building and that building is in Marseille in France and I want to see how window height affects shading in summer vs winter.  I need to place that building in a Lat/Long and play with the time of year.  Is that possible?

Thanks

What I am actually working on is a device for treating aqueous waste by evaporation.  This is a two year project funded by an EU grant and we are using Fusion to model the device.  It will have a solar collector, (part not yet drawn), and will be tested in various locations in France, the first being in the territory of Arles.

Is there a way of positioning this device in my latitude/longitude and time of year to help so that I might visualise the context and also solar energy implications?  If anyone can just give me a yes or no that would help.
