Generative Design Tool to Connect Surfaces

I was recently working on a part to adapt an existing 3D printer bed gantry to fit a larger heated bed.  As I was designing the file, I noticed a panel between the "create" and "modify" categories under the solid tab in the design workspace label generative design.  After clicking on the tool I was prompted to select surfaces to connect and objects to avoid.  I was not prompted to enter further data about loads or materials.  Once I confirmed my selection of faces to merge and objects to avoid it generated three separate design options.  While using this tool, I remained in the design workspace and was not sent to the generative design workspace.  Since I tried this tool, I have not been able to find it again on the same project or any of my other projects.  Can someone advise me how I might be able to access this tool again? I have spent a few hours searching for a solution with no luck.  Attached is the file I was working on at the time.  Because I was just experimenting with the tool, and didn't need to connect the two bodies for my design, I did not click ok for any of the generated options, so the tool is not in the timeline.  Many thanks.

Additionally, I'd like to add that the generated structures offered by the tool served strickly to connect the selected surfaces.  None of the generated options had the same "holey" appearance as generated support structures.
