I am trying to create a MC breakhandle  (pictured below)for a school project which includes utilizing Generative design to optimize the shape for mass/material reduction.

I have tried doing a design study using this setup.

I have identified the hinge as a fixed contraint and then used obstacle geomtry on the shape surounding it. I have also placed another obstacle geometry on the part where your hand goes. I have then applied two loads, one on the handle part and one on the litle cone that pushes a piston.

I have chosen ABS as my material and weightreduction as my goal with a saftey factor of two.

But after running a generative study i end up with a dissapointing blob, far lager then the original and not the spindly structures that all the GD promos show of.

Any help would be greatly appreachiated, my
