Gap in corner too big - Need maximum of 0.5mm gap

Hi Fusion 360 gang!

I am having trouble creating a smaller gap between the corner flanges. Ideally I would like there to be a maximum of 0.5mm gap and with a linear weld corner relief.

the whole corner will eventually be welded so I need it as tight as possible. Thanks!

The video will explain the only way I know to do what you desire.

Hi jhackney1972,

Thank you for your response!

You have some what solved my problem, but ideally I would like to keep the bends on the top face.

I have attached another Fusion File of the finished product but just as a body rather then sheetmetal part to give you an idea of what I am making. For production purposes, it is best for us to have all the bends coming off the top face and this also gives a better finished product.

Essentially it is a box that will be folded on a press brake and then welded down the corners, hence needing such a tight tolerance in the gap/ seam.

I hope I have given you enough information. Thankyou

Attached is a sheet Metal example.

Just need the flange edges to as close a possible.

Since you are bending separate flanges, you can only achieve a minimum gap is you change the bend radius to a small value which I know will be unacceptable.  I my earlier example I was creating a miter joint which can be closed up independent of the bend radius.  Since this method is unacceptable to your fabrication process, I do not have a suitable answer for you.  Sorry.
