Fusion360 Mouse gesture view?

Hi, I've been using Fusion 360 for about a year now. Really enjoy it.

One thing that has been very helpful was the mouse-gesture for manipulating the view. Once I had set it on the 'SolidWorks' style, I've been comfortable with it.

But just recently, I can no longer manipulate the view with right-clicks anymore... It looks like it's starting to draw a line, then it turns into the 'manipulation pop-up' dialogue box.

In preferences, where I original set it to 'SolidWorks' style gestures has been switched back and forth, with no changes.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I can't reproduce what you are describing.  It might help if you made a video with Autodesk Screencast.

What OS are you using, and have you tried restarting your computer?

Thanks for the reply. Actually, what I found was quite interesting.

There are preferences to allow Fusion manipulation with the mouse act like SolidWorks, Or other drawing programs. I went through them and found one that works close to what SolidWorks was doing. But the 'Solidworks' choice, no longer manipulates the drawing like it used to. Not sure what happened, or how it got changed. There was an update the previous day, but it was an AUTODESK update, not necessarily a Fusion update, if I remember correctly.

I appreciate the option to do a desktop share. I'm not sure when I would have time to do that. I am working at home and at the University on alternating days.  I'll get back to you if this issue is unworkable. For now, I am satisfied... i just need to get used to a little bit of change.

I don't want to share screens. I was asking for a video made with an excellent screen capture tool for CAD called "Autodesk Screencast". It would help me see the button presses as you use the mouse.

There have been no changes to Solidworks navigation mode, and zero other complaints. So if you have a situation you think falls outside this experience, I'm glad to investigate. A video is a good start.

Thanks for taking time to reply.

I have experienced similar issues with the mouse gestures. Setting different "mouse gesture as" options do not seem to make a difference on the navigation controls. It's a small bug with high frustration, since navigation is such a fundamental action.

Thanks for commenting. Would you be willing to make a narrated Screencast video that shows what you find to be a bug? I'm glad to take the report to development. When the video is done being processed, you can paste the link here.
