Fusion360 Hanging when align tool selected.

Hi All,

I'm having an issue whereby Fusion is hanging for a minute or so when I select the align tool. I don't even need to select anything, it happens every time as soon as I select to tool in this assembly. I'm trying to align a cylinder to a sketch line. I have four of these in my assembly. I'm at a loss as to why this is happening. I've tried on offline mode as well and it does the same. Any ideas?

Laptop Specs are:

2019 Macbook Pro

64gb RAM

AMD Radeon Pro5500m 8gb Graphics card

2.4ghz 8-core i9 processor.

Hi @ryanthomson_is

Thank you for posting. I think the problem is with the graphics driver.

  • Update the graphics card drivers by following the steps:
  1. Go to the question mark in the top right corner of the Fusion 360 interface.
  2. Select Support and Diagnostics -> Graphics Diagnostics.
  3. Scroll down.
  4. Select "Check GPU driver update".
  5. If not installed yet, download and install the latest driver for the used graphics card.

HI Moshuir,

Thanks for the reply. I've checked as per your instructions but I don't have an option to check for GPU update.

This is what I can see:
