Fusion360 CAM simulation not working

Hi

I've got some big issues with Fusion360 and CAM simulation.

It always worked perfect without issues.

I don't know what triggered this issue but I'm unable to perform a cam simulation.

For simple 2D operations it works slow but fine.

But when doing 3 axis or 4 axis work it just freezes

I think it has something to do with the stock calculation. When I turn off "stock" in the simulation dialog I can atleast see my toolpath and the cutter moving in the part. I just don't see stock.

When I turn on stock Fusion freezes and gives me maybe 2 seconds of simulation before freezing again.

I've already reinstalled Fusion without any effect

ps: I think toolpath generation takes longer than normal.

Running a Windows 11 Asus TUF Gaing FX506 A15

AMD Ryzen 7 4800H

GeForce RTX 2060

What is your Accuracy set to?

Your computer specs are better than mine, so I don't think it's hardware related

If you're trying to simulate while In Process Stock is calculating, there is some definite lag. Is that the case?

Hi Seth,

Ow it was that easy?
The accuracy was maxed out. I lowered it and I can simulate CAM now 🙂

Thanks for the quick reply and help

Have a nice day
