I've been sent 2 files that I downloaded and could not open due to not having the latest update of Fusion. Fusion told me it failed up update and to run a diagnostics log and post it here. I've attached the log for anyone that can help.

Hi @dwoodville ,

Looking at the log, you seem to be running almost a year old build (2.0.6263) and there seems to be an issue with the SSL on your machine. This can happen due to python/SSL version mismatch.
Can you run following command in terminal and share the output:

$ python3 -c "import ssl; print(ssl.OPENSSL_VERSION)"

If it's not too much work, One way to fix this problem is a clean reinstall.

  1. You can follow this article: How to perform an automatic clean uninstall of Autodesk Fusion 360 to uninstall Fusion.
  2. Then install Fusion again - This should install the latest version and hopefully the SSL issue should not appear in the next update.
