Fusion subscriptions - annual subscription suggests the price is locked for 3 years?

As title.. 

I'm looking at buying fusion 360 moving from the personal version.. the pricing blurb says lock in pricing for 3 years.. as below 

However it also pretty vague. I want to pull the trigger to get the 25% discount, but as per the sales blurb i would like the pricing locked for 3 years.. it read pretty clear - but then i'm wondering why the 3 year subscription exists.. when you pay it annually and its considerably more than the current offer for 1 year?

Can anyone shed some light?

The sale price is only for a one year subscription of Fusion, not the 3yr term, and I don't believe that it's a "price lock", but rather, just the first year.

Thanks for the reply, I understand it's just for 1 year but look at the screen grab I posted. It clearly states about locking the price for 3 years when the one year term is selected. If this is not the case I'd suggest this needs addressing
