Fusion native insert washer/screw functionality have no options to switch sides.

For example here:

I have created a slot for one panel and a M6 screw hole positioned on another panel,

however, when I attempt to insert a washer, I cannot automatically select the center of the slot,

there are, lets say 8 holes on that face.

The only way for select similar functionality to kick in is to select the circular part of the slot, but if you do so, Fusion 360 will place 2 washer on each half of the slot, meaning there are 16 washers in total, which I do not want.

Ok, let us do it manually by selecting all 8 holes from the sketch, however, it does NOT seem like the INSERT FASTENER function within Fusion 360 have the ability for washer to switch sides/direction. so my washer is buried inside the panels instead of sitting on top of it.

Are there any option to insert the washer correctly so it doesn't collide with other panel models?

Or Do I have to change the design so that it is a circle instead of a slot? I made the slot because the sheet metal pieces are large. The slot allows for tolerance if the pieces do not perfectly align.
