Hi All.

I purchase Fusion a few months ago.. I love the program all in all, however, my biggest downside is that it is sooooo slow..

It keeps freezing and not responding.. I only bought a new pc in Jan 2020.. but if ineed something a bit meatier, then I am prepared to buy another one... if it is that my pc cannot handle it.

Any ideas at to what it is i need?

Kind Regards

Gemma

I have the same problem with Fusion, it's one of the things I dislike the most about it. Very slow, even with very simple designs. I specifically bought a computer able to handle CAD and still have many problems. They do  however seem to be periodic, and at times it can work quite well.

Thank you for reminding me why I will likely source another program before buying this licence

Thanks for your reply, but really not what I was hoping for..  I already have another program, which is really expensive, but also far more Not User Friendly.. I moved to Fusion after a trial because it is far more user friendly and the way it works, I love.. All in all, its a great program. Im sure, if I can get the right computer, this surel wont happen? Maybe my computer just isnt strong enough? I just need to understand what I need?

You guys need to provide some data for analysis.

So the very least you should post is a screeshot of what the design involves.

Generaly it is ost helpful if you simply export your designs as a .f3d file an attach it to a post along with a somewhat conpreshensive and cohesive description of the problem.

Hello,

Thank you for all of your replies.. from reading other posts also, I have found that my computer is at the very low end of the spec for the requirement for this program. Therefore I am going to invest into a much bigger computer as my design are quite complex. It seems to work fine when working on single items or small assemlbies.. therefore it must be the computer.. Thanks for your help. I will let you know how it works once I have bought it and also the details of the pc that I buy when I get to this position.

Many Thanks

@salesSS33M in my not insignificant experience with Fusion 360 (I've worked with CAD in general for 30 years, 3D CAD for over 20) and users on this forum the the Facebook Fusion 360 group 90%+ of people complaining abut Fusion 360's performance use the wrong design techniques.

So why don't you post some more details about your computer and the designs you create.
