Fusion jumps to front screen

I have never had this issue before but for the past few weeks, the application keeps jumping to the front. I've tried restarting the app and my computer, deleting user cache, etc but the app keeps jumping to front of screen. It's becoming very annoying and it seems to be getting worse. I have the latest Mac OS on iMac. Why does this keep happening and how can I fix it??

This will be fixed in an upcoming major release. Fusion Insiders will have an opportunity to test it near the end of this month.

I'm not familiar with the browser popping through on Windows - if anything, it has had the opposite problem, where it sometimes hides itself behind other windows. This was due to an over-zealous Hide function on the progress bar (associated with many commands), and should also be fixed in the same release.

It does BOTH things on Windows, bringing itself to the front when I click on another app in the task bar at the bottom, the other app shows up for a second or two then goes back behind the Fusion window again. Only way I can get around that one is to click on the desktop background, THEN click on the other app in the taskbar. Fusion also will send itself to the background behind other apps when it has to stop and think about some operation that takes a few seconds. Both problems have been there for a long time, both have been complained about by many users for a long time! Such a basic thing for applications programmers to manage, I'm amazed it has been a problem for SO long. Really breaks up the work flow.

If you have not been aware of it, you need to read this forum more! Its all been posted on multiple threads for months and months.

Can you point me to one of the threads in question? This thread was initially about the browser popping through, and that I know for sure will be fixed. The other issue may be known, just described differently internally - it will be helpful to see screenshots or recordings from the thread.

I'm amazed you havent noticed posts about this. Well, here are a few threads (other than this one) that talk about it, pulled them from my post history. The first one I created just the other day since you kept closing out the previous thread about it. These are the ones I found easily. As for videos of it happening, I'll try and figure out how to capture it.

This appears to be a post that links back to this very thread we're in.

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-support/windows-fusion-keeps-sending-itself-to-the-background/...

This is about Fusion on Windows sending itself to the background, which is fixed as I mentioned.

This post also references Fusion on Windows sending itself to the background.

I highly recommend creating a new thread if you are experiencing Fusion jumping to the front on Windows.

Okay, just created another new thread about just that issue. I know its been talked about in other threads, as you say its gotten lost in the shuffle in those threads since there are a number of related bugs about fusion sending itself, or parts of itself, up and down the stack of windows. I am not going to spend a lot of time searching all the threads for this to point you at places its been talked about, too much other work to do here!
