Fusion jumps to front screen

I have never had this issue before but for the past few weeks, the application keeps jumping to the front. I've tried restarting the app and my computer, deleting user cache, etc but the app keeps jumping to front of screen. It's becoming very annoying and it seems to be getting worse. I have the latest Mac OS on iMac. Why does this keep happening and how can I fix it??

I agree this is not a permanent solution, but I marked it as solved so we can at least get some temporary relief. I find it ridiculous that after almost 2 months, the Fusion team still cannot find a solution to such an important issue that affects probably half their user base. Especially when you have paying customers. I'm already planning to switch to an alternative program.

I also don't like the way this problem is being marked as solved, when the problem really hasn't been solved.

Yup, I noticed the same from a few weeks ago. I just filed under "Qt bug that never gets properly fixed by Qt".

As of today, this issue is still happening. Right now Fusion 360 is in the background but the menus are on top of all of my other windows. It's fairly frustrating especially when Fusion is running complex computations in and I'm waiting for it to finish (or stall out). Hovering over any of the menus (Browser, Sketch Palette, etc) shows the spinning wheel of doom.

I have never seen an issue quite like this and I'm surprised that Autodesk has allowed it to stick around so long.

My guess would be that it has to do with how they handle window management with the menus, and that they're somewhat independent and can be dragged around places.

Any help Fusion 360 team?

This bug still appears. This happens at my home pc and on all the pc's at work. Is there a fix already?

Many thanks.

This bug is still happening on both my work and home computer. As was previously mentioned, the "fix" of closing the browser tree works but that is not actually a fix for the bug. I have yet to see a solution for this problem from Autodesk support.

Had this issue with Mac Air and Pro, super annoying. It'll even close the main screen and focus on the inspect tool. Really messes with the workflow.

Well, the issue is still on, even on windows. I guess that "working on it" only worth soo much.

How is this still an issue with fusion? I have used it for multiple years and the UI still comes to the front of my screen. I have never used another paid software that does this, someone at autodesk should really look into this...absolute disasterScreenshot 2024-03-27 at 9.35.49 PM.png

Does this to me ALL the time. Why should I have to shut the program down just to get rid of it?!?!

This works for me, too.  Closing or moving the Browser Tree, that is.  And like you said... THIS IS NOT A FIX AUTODESK!!! At BEST it is a workaround.  Seven Thumbs Down.

This completely ignores the operating system protocols.
