Fusion immediately shuts down when starting

Recently Fusion has started to exit immediately when I start it. The splash screen is shown briefly and then it exits. When I start a second time it works. This happens almost every time I start Fusion after I have booted the computer. This is on Windows 10.

This is how the log ends. I can send more of the log directly to the developers if needed.

@Bjanders The error seems to suggest that there is an error between the authentication service and Fusion.

1. Do you switch between multiple Autodesk products or have multiple Autodesk products running at the same time?

2. If you close Fusion, and immediately start it up again without doing anything else on your machine, are you able to consistently reproduce this problem?

When this occurs I boot up my computer and then start Fusion. I have not manually started any other Autodesk products and I'm not switching between them. The only other Autodesk product I have installed is Eagle, which I'm not starting.

It has only happened after I have booted my computer and then start Fusion. This has happened almost every time since the last Fusion update, but not every single time.

After the first start failure after a boot it has started every time so far. So it does not repeat if I close Fusion and then start it again.

@Bjanders To summarize:

1. Restart machine
2. Start Fusion

Fusion shuts down

3. Start Fusion again - all good
4. Close Fusion
5. Without restarting machine, start Fusion again
6. All good

If the above is correct, can you please try one more thing for me?

1. Launch Fusion
2. Now sign out of Fusion and close Fusion
3. Do not restart machine
4. Launch Fusion again/
5. Does the problem repeat?

It now occurred to me what is causing it. It's after I have had Fusion running  and my PC has crashed, and then after this have started my computer and then started Fusion.

The story for my recent PC crashes is caused by CNC machining (after making the CAM with Fusion). I've made some recent changes in my machining setup which causes the power to surge which causes the PC to crash. I have the PC connected to an UPS, but the battery needs replacement.

So, I guess the only way I can repeat the issue, is by starting Fusion, pulling the power cord from the PC and then restarting. I'm fine with this, now that I know the cause. I've got to get that battery replaced. 🙂

I'm fully confident my issues were caused by the crashes. I've now never had issues when I have properly shut down my computer.
