Fusion hangs on startup after 7-20-21 Windows Updates

I haven't been able to use Fusion on my desktop since windows updated in July. Has Microsoft come out with a patch- or? I'm currently using my laptop which has had windows updates disabled, on the same network BTW....

Hi @mike.patton, do you know which update it was? Can you describe more about how Fusion is not working? Depending on how far it gets during startup, that may indicate where the issue is.

 

If you haven't checked yet, please ensure that your graphics drivers are up to date and still supported by the device manufacturer - often users crash after a major Windows update due to older graphics.

This has been going on since July- the Autodesk support worked with our IT and couldn't find a solution. The last I heard they were waiting for a Microsoft patch. I hadn't heard back from Autodesk support for quite awhile so that's why I thought I'd try here. I have been through the uninstall- clean- reinstall- check graphics drivers thing so many times I lost count. I think it was the 21H2 update that started it. It works perfectly on my update disabled laptop, but long term that isn't a good solution for network security as well as performance reasons. The case number was 18014012.
