Fusion freezing

I have used Fusion for several years and it recently stopping working. The program opens and you can select the sketch tool but once you select a rectangle or other symbol and move the cursor, it freezes and the screen goes black. I have uninstalled the program and re-installed the newest version. I upgraded the graphics drivers. I have a Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10210U CPU @ 1.60GHz 2.11 GHz with 12 GB RAM and SSD drive 64 bit Windows 11. Any suggestions? thanks,

please share your model here.  I suspect that you have a VERY complex sketch.  Fusion is not "frozen", it is likely just very busy trying to drag the geometry.  Wait long enough, and it will finish.  Do you have a sketch pattern in this sketch with lots of instances?  Was your sketch made by importing a large DXF or SVG?  Those are all paths that will lead to bad performance.

One thing you can try is to disable Profiles.  This can help in some cases:

I couldn't even start a sketch.  It would freeze on movement of the cursor after selecting the sketch tool.  I had recently switched to Windows 11 and upgraded drivers using the Dell maintenance program.  I went back to Windows 10 and installed a new Intel graphics driver and things are working except if I try very complex models.  I downgraded the things that are displayed and that helped a lot.
